On December 31, 1989, 11 year old Collier Landry woke up to the sound of his father murdering his mother, Noreen. When she was nowhere to be found the next day, it seemed like nobody believed Collier and the police treated the situation like a missing person's case. But less than a month later, Noreen's body is found buried in the basement his father's new home. So now what? This moving documentary tells the story of Collier's journey from helping put his father behind bars to a lifetime spent trying to understand the murder to maybe--just maybe--finding a way to create something good out of this senseless tragedy.

I've been wondering about the impact that such traumatic experiences have on a person's ability to process and heal over time. Collier's journey to understand his mother's murder must be incredibly complex, especially given how much he had to navigate alone as a child. It makes me think of how different people cope with grief and trauma; I noticed something similar with the way family dynamics can shift in the wake of tragedy, like with the discussions around shows such as "Fox Slots ." How do you think Collier's story might resonate with others who have faced similar challenges?

This paragraph is heartbreaking and powerful, and it clearly conveys the deep emotional weight of Collier Landry’s story without sensationalizing it. Framing the documentary around his long journey toward understanding and healing makes it feel human and meaningful, not just tragic. In a way, it reminds me of Veck IO in how it focuses on process and perseverance—moving forward step by step, even after the most devastating circumstances.
