In October of 2020, Brittany Smith was brutally attacked in her home. In order to save herself, she shot and killed her attacker. By all accounts this is a clear case of a person legally acting in self defense. But the question is, does this law apply equally to men and women? I think you know the answer.

It's incredibly disturbing to think that self-defense isn't equally applied based on gender. A close friend of mine went through a similar ordeal, constantly battling a system that seemed biased against her even with clear evidence of the threat she faced. The emotional and financial toll was immense. It really highlights the systemic inequities that need addressing. Speaking of needing a mental break after heavy stuff, have you ever tried the arcade game, Slope Game? It is simple but intense and can bring down a person's stress and anxiety, and also a nice way to unwind.
